Spring turns our students’ fingers green!

Our students have created their own garden on campus, following the principles of Permaculture Design: to create no waste and value recourses. They re-used an old fenced off-site so protected against grazing geese, they made windbreak walls from coppiced willow and alder which grows abundantly by the moat, they raised beds created by repurposing old builders’ pallets and used milk cartons as planting pots!
