Outdoor learning with Y4

Our Year 4 kids had a workshop with Mark Franck from CNME – center for nature education! They learned what the different plants in our own school garden are and their uses. And of course they enjoyed some of nature’s treasures: walnuts, chestnuts, herbs and more!
UWC Maastricht is fortunate to have the ability to grow all kinds of plants on the school campus. Being involved in growing, caring for, harvesting and then enjoying the fruits of labour makes for a rich learning experience!
