UWCM students going ‘bald for a cause’

Raising €1.315 by shaving or cutting hair? Our students did it!

With their event ‘Bald For A Cause’ they received financial support from friends and family and donated this money to marine conservation organization Sea Shepherd earlier this month. Also the hair went to a good cause: 3 kg went to hair bank Nederlandse Haarstichting in order to help people with hair loss and diseases and 2 kg went to The Hum Sum, a charity that creates hair mats, which they use to clean up oil spills!
