Partnership with BlackRock

We are proud to announce a partnership with BlackRock: a global provider of investment, advisory and risk management solutions. BlackRock will be particularly involved in our Female Empowerment Project to support girls from the Middle East and North Africa to embark on the two last years of the International Baccalaureate Programme on a scholarship.

The girls, like Magaly who is unrevealing the BlackRock sign at our donor wall, have the skills and qualifications for studying at our school, but would not be able to take this opportunity without financial support. Thanks to partners such as BlackRock, they can come to UWC Maastricht, where they will live and learn together with youth from all over the world. They are provided with the skills and knowledge to navigate and adapt to a changing world; to become self supportive, to make their own decisions; and to contribute to their communities and the world. In that way, the impact of UWC reaches far beyond the students alone.

We are very happy to have a company as BlackRock on board! They support us as part of their corporate social responsibility policy and it’s a win-win.
