UWCM represented at EU-UWC Youth Leadership Program in Cyprus

UWC Maastricht had the honor of attending the EU-UWC Youth Leadership Program in Cyprus

UWCM alumna and Cyprus native Vasiliki kicked off the event with an inspiring speech, setting the stage for a weekend focused on youth empowerment! Our students led impactful workshops on peace initiatives such as the ‘International Peace Conference’, ‘Youth Social Entrepreneurship’ and TEDx. And UWCM proudly introduced a new pedagogical method ‘Litigare bene’, which promotes peaceful conflict resolution by encouraging students to take the lead. The event concluded with a powerful speech by UWC’s Executive Director Faith Abiodun, reminding us: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world.”
