We’re still buzzing from our 4th United Women Conference!
Our powerhouse keynote speakers, Jolanda Holwerda and Aruna Subramanian, shared invaluable strategies to lead with compassion and focus on fixing systems, not women. Our talented students moved the audience with performances in music, dance and deeply personal storytelling. And last but not least, Tess ter Horst, a loyal supporter of UWC Maastricht since day one, delivered a speech that culminated in the exciting presentation of our 66th Female Empowerment Network member! These inspiring women believe in the transformative power of education to build a more equal and sustainable world. Through their generous donations they are opening doors for girls from the Middle East and North Africa to access a life-changing education here in Maastricht!
