Teaching Assistent in Primary School
The job:
We need a new Teaching Assistent. The vacancy is part time for 24 hours per week, with our students in upper Primary.
Every Teaching Assistent assists the teacher(s) in the team in delivering the curriculum and helping with day to day tasks in taking care for the students. The weekly schedule is agreed on with the team and the Director of Primary school and some flexibility is needed.

Education degree and professional experience
- Completed professional degree as a Teaching Assistent in Primary Education is desired.
- Proven succesful experience in working with (primary) students is required.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following competencies on a professional proficiency level:
- Empathy and understanding of multilingual learners and awareness of the variables at play with internationally mobile students.
- An ability to collaborate with class teachers.
- Willingness to learn and flexibility in work hours.

Terms of Employment
You will get a temporary contract of employment under Dutch law, initially for 1 year.
To be able to work in the Netherlands, a (foreign) staff member must be able to successfully apply for:
A Dutch VOG (certificate of good conduct).
UWCM will assist in the application process for a VOG.
Due to the very part time nature of this job we are looking for applicants who live locally and have an EU passport or a work permit for the Netherlands.
