Designed to nurture your intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being, the IB Diploma is widely respected by leading universities worldwide. As part of the International Baccalaureate (IB) network, a nonprofit organization, the programme ensures you receive a world-class education, giving you the tools to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.
You will follow a broad-based academic curriculum designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to prepare for life after UWC. You will choose six subjects from different academic areas and also complete three core elements.
At UWC Maastricht, you will have access to a wide range of co- and extra-curricular programmes. From sports and creativity clubs to music lessons and service projects, as well as student-led initiatives, you’ll have plenty of opportunities to develop leadership and collaboration skills. You will also engage in meaningful activities that connect you with both the school and the wider Maastricht community.
200 Diploma Programme and Career-related Programme students, aged 16 to around 18, live on campus, housed in our residence buildings. You’ll live in small groups, with four students sharing a bedroom. The UWC Maastricht experience extends beyond school hours, with you and your peers coming together in the Mensa for breakfast and dinner and engaging in a variety of activities that foster community and personal growth.
